BCPix – Brian Cleary Motorsport & Photojournalism Archive

BCPix is the official online photography archive of photographer Brian Cleary, documenting several decades of professional photography with a particularly strong emphasis on motorsport and photojournalism. The collection combines historic 35mm film photography with more recent digital work and makes thousands of original images available for browsing, licensing and selected print purchases.

Motorsport photography forms the core of the archive. Brian Cleary has photographed NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA and other forms of professional motor racing since the early 1980s. The collection includes racing action, drivers, teams, historic vehicles, pit and paddock scenes and major events such as the Daytona 500 and endurance races. Many photographs provide a visual record of earlier racing eras and are presented with information about the people, cars, locations and events depicted.

The archive extends beyond motorsport. BCPix also contains photography covering other professional sports, documentary subjects, wildlife, landscapes, historic locations and events such as NASA Space Shuttle missions. Photo Stories adds a narrative component, combining photographs with Brian Cleary's firsthand experiences and historical context behind particular images, people and events.

BCPix serves several audiences. Photo editors, publishers, researchers, authors and content producers can inquire about licensing original photographs for editorial and other approved uses. Photography enthusiasts and collectors can explore the archive, while selected images are offered as posters, photographic prints, canvas art and other products through the site's shop.

The defining purpose of BCPix is therefore the preservation, presentation and licensing of Brian Cleary's original photographic work, with historic motorsport photography representing its most distinctive and extensive specialty.
