1ClipArt – Free Clip Art Images & Graphics

1ClipArt is an online archive dedicated to free clip art images and graphics. The website provides a large collection of illustrations arranged into numerous subject categories, allowing visitors to browse visual material according to the topic they need. The site states that its archive contains more than 10,000 clip art images distributed across more than 300 categories.

The collection covers a particularly broad range of subjects. Available sections include animals, anatomy, astrology, buildings and houses, cartoons, computers, construction, dancing, entertainment, fantasy, flags, food, games, holidays, household subjects, icons, literature, medicine, military themes, music, nature, people, religion, science, signs, space, sports, technology and transportation. There are also collections for office and business themes, web graphics, words and tags, parties and other specialized subjects.

The website functions primarily as a browsable visual resource rather than as an image editing application, design agency or general creative magazine. Its main purpose is to provide visitors with categorized graphics that can be discovered through the site's extensive directory structure. This makes the collection useful for people searching for illustrations for websites, presentations, documents and other creative projects.

An important aspect of the archive is that not every graphic was originally created by 1ClipArt. The website explicitly notes that some images come from other authors and that individual creators may impose restrictions on commercial use. Users therefore need to consider the rights associated with individual graphics before using them in commercial projects.

Overall, 1ClipArt is best described as a free clip art and graphics archive. Its defining feature is the large categorized collection of downloadable visual material rather than photography, professional design services or image editing tools.
